My to-do-list had officially grown to long, I had to commit my morning to life admin.
I decided to head to the The Mae Deli, owned by the instagram and healthy food sensation Delicouslly Ella, I have been waiting for a restaurant ever since discovering her blog and sweet potato brownies about two years ago.
The Deli is classed as Marylebone but it’s just a stones throw from Marble arch. Brunch is served until roughly 11am, with lunch slowly beginning to filter to the salad bar from the kitchen.
The lunch time rush kicks in about 12pm so if you are hoping for a seat I would recommend arriving just before, we were lucky to grab two chairs in the window.
Cucumber infused water is kept on the table and of course you can drink as much as you like! I ordered a mocha and my friend had the Mae Latte, milk and chocolate were off the menu being dairy products but the almond milk and raw cacao worked a treat!

I went for the breakfast, which was kept simple, you could choose from a base of Chia, Bircher muesli, Porridge, Acai or Coconut yoghurt with a choice of toppings! I went with the porridge, being a Deliciously Ella staple with almond butter, fruit compote and maple syrup.

The deserts are mouthwatering and as you can see, all made with good for you ingredients.

The salads change daily which helps keep the menu fresh and exciting, sweet potato, avocado dip, Thai green curry and slaw made there way onto my friends plate, I think I had a little food envy.
After emails, work and catching up we wrapped up our lives and re joined the human race, taking with us a pecan brownie for the ride.
