If you’re familiar with my blog you’ll probably know this already, but I love a good brunch.
In the heart of Notting Hill, just off Portobello Road you’ll find Farm Girl, a completely relaxed and fuss free breakfast joint. Healthy eating is currently the most popular food trend seeing ‘super foods’ avocado and kale become familiar sights on most menus, and juices of all colours vying to be the top brunch choice.
While croissants and cakes may not be the healthiest option, they certainly are delicious!
We went for the brunch classic of avocado on gluten free toast with lemon juice, seasoned to perfection with crushed black pepper and coriander. Accompanied by a side order of chicken and strawberry, not the most mainstream but an amazing combination, I think it’s the mix of savory and sweet.
The gluten-free berry pancakes are also a great go to especially if want to avoid gluten. Benoit’s buckwheat pancakes topped with amber maple syrup, fresh berries and a sprinkle of coconut are the perfect choice especially if you’re craving something healthy and sweet.
Naturally we ended with coffee.
